Young Adults & Adults

Whether you are beginning college or a recent graduate, life often presents with unforeseen challenges. Psychotherapy provides a space for us to acquire insight and clarity, create new priorities, and gain the courage to change. My therapy approach tends to be warm, but also goal-directed. While it's important to have a space to talk through concerns, I believe therapy should also be a place to identify new strategies to utilize in your life to help you better reach your goals. The therapy approaches I use are research-supported and include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Topics/concerns typically addressed in therapy include the following:

Adjustment Difficulties

Depression and Anxiety

Emotional Dysregulation

Self-harm Behaviors

Building Confidence and Self-Esteem

Relationship Issues

Parenting Concerns

Disordered Eating
